Astrology Systems

Cosmic Ephemeris currently supports Lahiri, Raman, Krishnamurti, Fagan–Bradley, Yukteshwar, Sassanian, True Chitra, True Revati, True Pushya, Galactic Center at 0 Sagittarius, and Galactic Alignment/Mardyks ayanamsas, not every sidereal system offered by other products. The six-star-only CC0 beta is available; asteroid and minor-body calculations are not offered. Instant Panchang provides tithi/paksha and Sun–Moon elongation, not a standalone Moon-phase calendar or illuminated-fraction API. Solar/lunar returns find natal-longitude returns, not new or full moons.

Cosmic Ephemeris exposes one geocentric calculation engine with two longitude frames. Routes with a zodiac option default to tropical; sidereal is an explicit opt-in on those routes. The Vedic beta routes and nakshatra timeline always use sidereal coordinates. These are calculation products, not additional zodiacs.

Explore Western capabilities, Hellenistic building blocks, and Vedic / Jyotish building blocks. Sidereal chart mode itself does not add dashas or divisionals. Separate beta D1/D2/D3/D4/D5/D6/D7/D8/D9/D10/D11/D12/D16/D20/D24/D27/D30/D40/D45/D60/D81/D108/D144/D150 and Vimshottari through optional depth 4 implement the documented methods, including opt-in Vimshottari Pratyantardasha with depth: 3 and fixed Sookshma periods with depth: 4. Separate instant Panchang beta provides tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and bounded sunrise-based vara under an explicit USNO solar model. Regional calendars, festivals and complete tradition-specific interpretation remain unavailable.

Separate lunar-node beta returns mean and geometric DE421 osculating north/south pairs with explicit source frames; legacy chart nodes.true still equals the mean node. The return beta searches only the next Sun or Moon longitude return and supplies its physical chart. Both support tropical or sidereal output; they do not add full tradition-specific interpretation or general event search.

The solar-arc beta applies one true tropical solar arc to natal planets and angles. Sidereal output uses natal-date ayanamsa; directed houses are synthetic Equal or Whole Sign. This is distinct from a physical return chart or independently progressed planets.

Public calculations support dates from 1900-01-01 through 2050-12-31. Sidereal mode supports lahiri, raman, krishnamurti, fagan_bradley, yukteshwar, sassanian, true_chitra, true_revati, true_pushya, galactic_center_0_sagittarius, and galactic_alignment_mardyks; omitted sidereal ayanamsa defaults to lahiri. Return searches additionally require their entire fixed 370-day Sun or 32-day Moon window to fit within the supported UTC range.
